Our business

An authentic family adventure since 1974

Our brand was created in 1974 by Maria and Michel Hatat, but the history of the business goes back several generations. Our vineyards came from Marcelle Hatat who passed them on to Maria and Michel. Since 2006 the business has been run by Rémy, Pascal and Hugues, their sons.

Our company is located in Saint Martin d'Ablois, a small, friendly village in the heart of the Champagne region and on the “coteaux Sud” near Épernay.

Our champagnes are produced taking into account the rich traditions of the region, the complexity of the process and the most up-to-date technology. You will find that our champagnes are of a consistently high quality, made using the three main champagne grape varieties: pinot noir, which brings complexity and vinosity; pinot meunier, known for its freshness and lightness; chardonnay, the only white grape, giving elegance and finesse. All our champagnes are a minimum of four years old
